Terms and Conditions – Genish Diamonds
Introduction
1.1. The website "Genish Diamonds" (hereinafter: "the Website") is operated by a long-standing family business in the field of jewelry design and manufacturing, located in the Diamond Exchange in Ramat Gan (hereinafter: "the Business").
1.2. Any action and/or purchase made on the Website constitutes the customer's full agreement to the terms specified in these Terms and Conditions. This document is drafted in the masculine gender for convenience purposes only, but applies equally to all genders.
1.3. The Business reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, at its sole discretion, and the binding version is the one published on the Website at the time the purchase is made.
Purchasing Terms on the Website
2.1. Purchases on the Website may be made by individuals aged 18 or older who hold a valid credit card lawfully issued in Israel (or another approved digital payment method).
2.2. The completion of the transaction is subject to the approval of the clearing company or credit card issuer, as well as full verification of the order details by the Business.
2.3. The images and illustrations displayed on the Website are for demonstration purposes only. Slight variations and a minor margin of difference may occur between the digital appearance of the jewelry on screen and its real-life appearance, resulting among other things from monitor settings or the use of natural diamonds and unique raw materials.
Price List, Precious Metals, and Market Fluctuations
3.1. Due to the volatility of gold and diamond prices in international markets, the Business reserves the right to update product prices on the Website from time to time.
3.2. A binding transaction price will be finalized only after actual payment completion and the issuance of an official order confirmation by the Business.
Custom-Made Products, Special Collections, and Gemological Certificates
4.1. A significant portion of the Business's operations focuses on custom jewelry manufacturing (such as engagement rings, custom engravings, chosen settings, and the "Letter Collection").
4.2. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, purchases cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded for products manufactured specifically for the customer (including jewelry made to exact personal measurements, custom ring sizes, or custom designs requested by the customer).
4.3. Gemological Certificates: Jewelry featuring central diamonds will be accompanied by recognized gemological certificates (such as GIA, IGL, or an internal appraisal certificate from the Business). The customer acknowledges that natural diamonds are formed in nature and, therefore, minor variations in clarity grade or tone may exist without affecting the value of the jewelry.
4.4. Lab-Grown Diamonds: If a piece of jewelry with a lab-grown diamond is ordered, this will be explicitly noted in the product specifications. Lab-grown diamonds are sold according to precise, predetermined specifications.
Cancellation of Transaction and Return of Products (Standard Products Only)
5.1. Cancellation of a purchase for a standard product that was not custom-made will be carried out in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, within 14 days from the date of receiving the product, provided that the product is in its original packaging, has not been used, damaged, or resized, accompanied by the original invoice.
5.2. In the event of a cancellation not due to a defect or non-conformity, a cancellation fee of 5% of the product price or 100 NIS (whichever is lower) will be deducted, in accordance with the law.
5.3. The cost of physically returning the product to the Business's offices at the Diamond Exchange rests solely on the customer.
Shipping and Delivery Policy
6.1. Method of Delivery: Due to the high financial value of the jewelry, deliveries are carried out via a secured courier service or through self-pickup from the company's offices at the Diamond Exchange in Ramat Gan (by prior appointment only).
6.2. Delivery Times: Products from the existing collection will be delivered according to the standard schedule of the shipping company. Custom-made or manufactured jewelry will be delivered on the date agreed upon in advance with the customer.
6.3. The Business is not responsible for delays resulting from force majeure, strikes, external shipping company delays, or strict security protocols at the entrance to the Diamond Exchange complex.
6.4. Delivery will be made solely to the official customer, subject to the presentation of an ID card and a physical signature on the delivery form.
Warranty and Maintenance of Fine Jewelry
7.1. The Business provides a warranty on the quality of the gold, setting craftsmanship, and original natural/lab-grown diamonds in accordance with the specifications provided at the time of purchase and the accompanying warranty certificate.
7.2. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not apply in cases of loss, theft, breakage resulting from unreasonable use, or damage caused by an unauthorized third party. It is recommended to have settings inspected periodically by the Business once a year.
